I've owned Dragon Age Inquisition since its opening release. I've yet to beat my first playthrough.

I bought Dragon Age Inquisition on sale but haven't played it yet. Due to a list of games to play and mixed reviews of Inquisition I've read, it wouldn't surprise me if I only played once, rather than the several playthroughs I did of Origins, Mass Effect, and Mass Effect 2. For those who have played, particularly those who played multiple times, what should I do to maximize enjoyment of that one run? I do enough in the hinterlands that enables me to get all the agents and that can be easily completed quickly. Once I am in Skyhold...I go back for the rest of stuff. I plan to do a video once I move. Oh and the game is not as bad as people made it out to be.

Eh, the gameplay grew boring, like the complaint about it acting like a MMO in a single-player environment. I went to the old Temple Morrigan got the well and we went through the mirrors pretty sure I'm at the end or close to it I've just yet to form the motivation to go back and finish.

Talk about stopping at goal line. Sounds like you only have the final boss fight left, 30 minutes tops. Then again, I'd recommend you to buy and play Trespasser, since it adds good story as well as better game play. But I guess that's not very interesting to you.

I know you mean well but that sounds like "Hey, you didn't like this one but spend money for more of it."

It's more like "Hey, a lot of people who were meh on DAI ended up liking it much more after they played Trespasser." I loved the whole game even before Trespasser so I'm not one of those people, but that really is a common sentiment.

I played the game on the ps3. and enjoyed the game. When I got the game of the year edition for the ps4, I enjoyed it even more. Trespasser and descent dlc's weren't bad. Ran into some good challenging fights. especially that giant qunari mage near the end of trespasser

You know whats going to happen? The people who overly hated on DAI will change their attitude when the new game comes out. This happened with DA2. Its human nature. But seriously, I'm well aware of the flaws of DAI but I still loved the game. Its become one of my relaxation games.

One more thing before I forget: Don't commit to Blackwall on the ramparts once you reach skyhold. To be extra safe, avoid romancing him altogether because he's the earliest romance who will lock you out as a female (I love how dedicated he sounds that way, but terrible for a promiscuous inquisitor). Solas' lock in romance occurs during the fade dream. You can break up with Bull and Josephine anytime, and rack Sera's approval like mad if you're Dalish (she gives the least approval for elfy elves) There's an elaborate walkthrough on how to romance as many teammates as possible and have it end naturally on reddit. I wish I could give it, but all I know is that Cullen can be saved for last, and flirting with everyone is paramount. You should be able to get a lot of the scenes in one go that way. I'll keep info dumping as much as I know if you want me to continue
