I know that it's early to start this in the mids of the ME:A hype but on the other hand it's never too early to share thoughts on a continuation of your favorite franchise. And in the title i said "if" because there seem to be some theories about Bioware that worries me. I really do hope (and there's alot of hope in this post) they continue the series and i hope (yup) i'm not alone. Probably they will (if it's going to happen) continue to work on the Frostbite engine and i hope (uhu) they can transfer alot of the code from Inquisition so they have more time for adjustments to it and focus on the things we missed. They did a great job with Inquisition given they had to rewrite all of it on said complex engine and i hope (yaayy) they learned alot from it. So yeah, what would you like to see? What can be improved further? What did you miss? Maybe characters you want back in your party instead of a cameo? And story wise? Maybe you have some nice theories up your sleeve? What direction would you take it? Anything really! I know that alot of people will want to see alot of Origins stuff back : ) Anyway, what i would like to see is rather straight forward. A true PC version as in... creating it for PC and after that a console port. Obviously with the choice on PC to play as console. I hope they can fix the tactical camera with the Frostbite engine (zooming out through ceilings). Tactics party setup like Origins. Following the before mentioned; Better AI. Skill bar at the bottom of the screen with the numeral keys and maybe a vertical bar (left or right and toggle for hiding it) with extra slots. No search function as in the last installment. Give us back glittery sparkles or sparkly glitters! Improved enemy spawn (like, "not in your face"). Potions like Origins. Herbalism/Poison creation as in Origins (mage/rogue on the spot if not in combat). Improved enchantment with "skill system". Make it so that "if" you are a mage or have a mage in the party that they can enchant weapons (maybe after aquiring a book that you give to your mage of choice. Read the book as that mage and get the skill. The more points you put in the skill, the stronger the enchantment). And also being able to do it on the spot while not in combat (if ofcourse you have said mage in your party. Otherwise you can do it in camp). Desire Demons! Origins enemy style. Darker (not visually but a creepy way) Leliana and Morrigan back in my party! I would say that Flemmeth needs a much bigger role in the series! Maybe in a younger body? It would make a nice scene when Morrigan finds out... No need for big maps but also not too linear. (in between Origins and Inquisition). First Person view (toggle) would be nice but not in battle ofcourse. Only for exploring/looting and taking in some scenery ones in awhile. This was more then i expected What do you think?

I would like to Solas to explain what the Golden/Black City was/is. It's Elven, obviously, but what the hell is it. I needz explanations plz.
I think having a generic set of hairstyles to go with whicheverk styles best fit the story would be nice. I didn't play DAI but there has been absolutely very little love for the hairstyles in it.
I guess there was a lot of preaching in the last game so would like it if the explanations were possibly left out. Different orientations should be normalized and if the player then has a problem with a said orientation and asks about it, they can then be given a quick, painless lecture about the what's, why's and what-the-fucks.
Some explanation about what the "original" Qunari are would be nice. They're obviously "dragonkin" but only a little explanation has been given by the Iron Bull thus far.
I'd like to see both Sera and Isabela in the same game. The insanity insued would be glorious.
Also wouldn't mind seeing a discussion between Merrill and Solas about what the Elven actually were. I imagine there to be a lot of fits pitched but i think it could provide some interesting insight into the Elven past. Merill's a big girl, she can handle it.

copy/pasted from my post on bsn
more punching
a lot more ruthless dialogue
a new cold spell. I would call it the ice slide. What that means is my mage cast a sheet of ice on the ground while the companions slide along slicing and dicing the baddies. Excellent
the ability to swap weapons like in DAO the rogue can use dual daggers and then switch to a bow
more dragons. Once all the dragons are killed, a quest is unlocked to fight the legendary dragon. When facing it, its twice the size of other dragons and has the capability of crushing the characters with its leg. hahaha
I've posted several times, but I like to see Flemeths armor added to the list of armor that can be worn
If there is a place like skyhold, I want a critical mission failure screen to pop up after jumping from extreme heights. It was funny seeing the Inquisitor survive jumping from heights would kill her/him at skyhold
I like for the bow to be able to hit a target from far away. It sucked that I had to get in range to use the bow when the bow could easily hit the target from the distance I was at
I like to see long, very long hair, especially for the females
if there's another party or ball, it would be nice to have the female wearing a dress
I might add more later

Definitely this! I hated how in DA2 you had to keep going back and forth between the inventory screen and the game if you wanted to use a different weapon. Would be great for companions as well.

The ability to move the camera around with the mouse. That's the main reason I have not touched any of the DA games. Tried Origins for 5 minutes, suffered through the horrible controls, shut that trash down immediately. Never touched it again.

I want to see a new, darker enemy. I want it to be more mature like game of thrones with a dash of Lord of the rings. Also we need better hairstyles and memorable protagonists.

Two ideas come to mind.
The Tevinter Qunari conflict. We head to this region of Thedas where War with the Qunari sparks back up again, so we are there Be it sent by some form of authority or coalition that wants to find a way to either live peacefully with the Qunari, or wipes them out. Thus you are are able to go between Tevinter, (Perhaps some other nations) and Par Vollen to try help deal with it. Along the way of course will have several subplots. The main one in my mind being a Tevinter rebellion led by Fenris. He's been gathering support, freeing slaves and fully intends to overthrow the Imperium completely obliterating it. Hawke could be there I suppose...but on the other side, you have Dorian, who wants to bring change from within, stop the brutal practices of his nation and make it one proud to be apart. If the Inquisitor happened to Romance Dorian, they might reference him I suppose. Though if Hawke sacrificed them self to help the Inquisitor in the Fade, I could see Tension between Fenris and Dorian for that. Along the way will meet the big players of both sides, the Archon, Sten of course and perhaps an un-golemfied Shale and other potential companions.
Next,I'm thinking an age of Exploration sort of thing for Thedas. The idea being we are a Christopher Columbus type of Character and we set out to go beyond the known edges of the maps of Thedas, seeing what is out there. Who knows what we might find. A whole other Elven Nation who was like a Sister to Arlathan and still remains strong? Perhaps a place where the Darkspawn completely took over? Or even the Homeland the the Qunari and find out why they had to leave? And among many other ideas. Will have a ship sailing and such fighting sea monsters, pirates, and among other things. Of course are companions will be apart of crew of whom which we get to known.

I see both as workable ideas though don't wanna forget this is Dragon Age so one of the main dragon's would have to be involved in some way. Think finding the Qunari's former home would be a most likely candidate since the species which control's the highest aspects of the Qunari culture are dragonkin of a sort.
