Did anyone else kinda miss her ME2 hairstyle when playing ME3? (For that matter, did anyone just miss the ME2 hairstyles in general?) Anyway, I heard there was cut dialogue about her backstory in how she and the Illusive Man met and I dearly wished it had been present when she and Shepard first met. It would have gone a long way towards making her a respected argument for Cerberus (though Cerberus would have needed a lot more to defend its horribly justified human casualties)

Oh yes Kelly Chambers, our glorified secretary of which it was okay to sleep with apparently since it said I still remained loyal. Odd.

News reader gone bad...in the 1990s...without a mirror. She has a surprising lack of content, I met her for the first time in my third run just recently (she may have um...not made it the previous 2 times) and I got the feeling they shouldn't have even bothered. Kelly deserved a little more than that.

Have her located in the medbay for anyone to go in to talk to her about whatever. Or have her walking around the ship asking folks is everything is ok.

I'm not a huge Kelly fan myself but many romanced her. It would've been nice to respect that and give her a little more content. Not sure if the alliance would let her on the Normandy, perhaps it could be Shep's decision?

@ Arcadia Grey Yeah, you're right. More content would have been nice. It just seemed kind of cold that she was dropped so that Traynor could be on the ship. What's worse, there was no acknowledgement that Shepard was involved with her if they romanced someone else. It felt like she wasn't important enough for the love interest to be offended. Oh my god. Was Kelly the Isabela of ME2? The "side dish" everyone expects to ignore? Now I feel even worse for her fans.

That joke always felt out of left field for me, mainly because Kelly always stayed on the ship. There was no way she'd be in contact with any varren. (Yes, I am taking this way too literally, but it's hard to follow the logic)

Part of the running joke that our dear yeoman/psychologist is the town bicycle as it were.... Ah, so she IS seen as the Isabela of Mass Effect. Poor Kelly...she just wants to love people for who they are! Wait a second...she's breaking some major psychology rules about fraternization if she's romancing a patient! Ah, forget it, Shepard was breaking that looong ago. Realism be damned. For that matter, did she really have a practicing license or was she just meant to be a sympathetic ear? I need to start thinking before typing too much.

I need to start thinking before typing too much. I seem to remember her saying that she is trained in Psychology. But yeah...Kelly takes the whole..."free love" thing a bit too far. But far be it for me to judge her for her bedding habits. But...Scale itch is caught from Varren.....Implications...unpleasant indeed...

I need to start thinking before typing too much. That running joke has no basis in fact. Heck, she is one of if not the only romance in the trilogy where sex does not necessarily occur with even Shepard. She was written along the same line of thought as Josephine and Solas in DAI, where the player could interpret whether the relationship was purely romantic or if it involves sexual intimacy as well.

I would have loved more Kelly content. She was both my favorite LI and one of my favorite characters overall in the trilogy. Having her aboard as a psychologist would have been great, especially since there are a lot of characters aboard who go through a stressful moment during the events of Mass Effect 3. I can just see her talking to Liara after Thessia, Tali during Rannoch, Garrus when he didn't know if his family was alive or dead, etc. As for the Alliance letting her aboard, I can see it having to be similar to what we did with Ken and Gabby, where we use the Spectre terminal to have them transferred to the Normandy.
