I'm a bit conflicted about trying to save money by waiting a few months until July or preordering. If Mass Effect 3 is any indication than you need the deluxe edition. With getting a companion and weapons and stuff.
I preferably don't want to go over 100 dollars all together but you never know.
Of course the release date could be delayed from March and than my planning would be all messed up.

The current fan theory is that the release date of ME:A will be March 21 again that is fan theory and speculation, based on the art book's release date, (which would have probably have some spoilers), and the fact that BioWare and Dark Horse (the company publishing the BioWare art books and comics) did the same thing with DA:I as well the release date of new comic book series and some new ME:A prose novels from Titan Books. It's also the same area as the end of EA's fiscal quarter would be the end of March.
Now BioWare/EA has NOT confirmed the release date and there is good chance that the release date will be revealed on N7 Day 2016.
As too pre-order or not to pre-order. I'm sick of the anti-preorder video game culture backlash and the hypocrisy of those who decry pre-ordering a video game but not pre-ordering movie tickets and then bitch about how bad movies make a shit ton of money and get awful sequel after awful sequel. Like Man of Steel, Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Suicide Squad all money makers and all got terrible reviews and half of the fans of these characters HATE the damn movies.
If I pre-order a video game and don't like it I can take it back, resell it, donate to charity, or just delete the damn thing (and I have done all of those), if I pre-ordered a movie ticket and I hate the movie it's next to impossible for me to get my money back, contributed my money to that movie, director, actors, and so on getting more work and worst of all I have lost time that I will never get back.
I pre-order video games that I like from companies that I like and yeah some times I pre-order just physical stuff that come with the game (I have an Xbox 360 collector's edition of Batman: Arkham Asylum that has a prop of the Bat-rang and a case shaped like that just because I wanted it), hell I would have bought an Inquisitor's Edition of DA:I but I didn't have the money to get it.
Yeah I pre-order video games, Blu-Rays, novels, and other stuff all the time.
