Yes, it was, but on some planets there were NO best routes. No matter where you drive, there is a sharp spiky mountain that can't really exist in real life no matter what the planet. I tried so hard to not drive on the mountain walls but it was nearly impossible. P.S. how to not quote another's quote without screwing up the main quote?

What's fun is hitting a geth armature hard enough to watch it go flying backwards into the lava on Therum. excellent

I'm on PC. Just finishing a "perfect" Adept playthrough of ME1. It's been quite some time since I've experienced the "joys" of the Mako. Repetitive. But not terrible. <<<<<<<<<<(0)>>>>>>>>>> Gotta re-start ME1, then. I'll try as an Adept, now that I know what to do after playing MP. Also can abuse the mako and hopefully not die....

I really like the Mako... It has provided me with some of my funniest moments in the game. That it's so danged difficult to handle is just part of its charm.
Great vid, SofaJockey!

I played ME1 on the PC and never had any real problems with the Mako. If yo ulook closely at teh ground you could see faint paths where it was safe to go.
And once I figured out the scope function on the turret, combat became so easy I went back to 3rd person.
SO for me there's nothing to forgive

Loved it. Nice change of pace with some fun platforming ones in a while but, it's been awhile since i played it. That said, i need to dive into it again anytime soon and maybe i'll change my mind.
*edit: Played it on PS3 though. Gonna buy it for PC in a near future!

Used to have some really bizarre moments with it. I'd be perched on flat terrain, looking through the scope, ready to snipe an enemy and all of a sudden it would lurch! My thumbs were not even touching the joysticks! It would continue moving forward slowly until I stopped it, restarted from scratch. I really hated the steering back then too. It was just so much easier to beat everything on foot. Armatures, geth, mercenaries, so long as you strafed and took out the snipers, no one could take you down.

Didn't mind the Mako. The problem was more with the planet design. I just hated having to use it on every. single. mission. I was hoping they give use something with the speed and maneuverability of the hammerhead but the the durability and fire power of the mako.

Never had a problem with it. It was fun to run over Acolytes and Colossuses.
