Everyone's favourite vehicle to hate, the Mako.
Do you still feel as you did? No happy memories?

I had no problem with the Mako. I had fun driving and bouncing around. The best was using it to pick up Geth Armatures and Colossi and throwing them into the lava on Therum or the ocean on Virmire. My problems were with the terrain generator, not the vehicle.
I do really like the music on that video though.

I hope I can get some gaudy gold rims spinning on the new one. If we can choose the color it's got to be a black one with tinted windows to go with my lovely new tires.

I played ME1 on the pc since it wasn't available on the ps3. I had a hard time controlling the Mako since I'm not a fan of the keyboard/mouse to play a video game. Once the game was available for the ps3, it was much easier to control.
The new Mako looks good.

Since I'm replaying ME1 I haven't forgotten the Mako. The Mako itself was never the problem, some minor upgrades and it would have been a great tank, one better or slightly bigger targeting sights, an accelerator and braking system, and a faster repair time.
I think a lot of the problems it feels like it was designed for streets but then was put on the all those mountainous planets were it wasn't designed for that to me was the real problem.

The mako is my kind of vehicle. Mass Effect 2 and 3 should of had it too.

I've always loved the Mako and never understood the hate. Is it mainly PC users that don't like it?

I never hated the Mako, it was so much fun climbing up mountains and sniping Geth, honestly how could anyone hate it?

Overtime I came to understand the problem with the Mako was never the Mako. It was having to drive it on planets like Nodacrux.

I'm sure you won't say that when you get your hands on the new one.

Hopefully the improved handling of new MAKO will get everyone to notice all the other benefits of having a MAKO in Mass Effect. Exploring world without it in ME2 and 3 was really lacking.
I originally thought they got rid of the MAKO to save on development time and money + to use that extra time & money to improve graphics more in other areas. Since the MAKO made Mass Effect worlds much larger. Never knew the MAKO had hate back when I started playing these games.

I've always loved the Mako and never understood the hate. Is it mainly PC users that don't like it? Seems like it. Must be something with the controls. My gf has always been a ME-completionist on console but you should have heard her when she was driving the mako on pc (she shares my hate, but mine goes deeper since I always play on pc).

Makos are alright as sharks go. Apparently they are the fastest of sharks, and are sometimes seen leaping out of the water. The Mako is awesome. Hopefully we get much better controls, but otherwise, it was a blast. Doing an impossible jump and surviving for the 1st time is the thrill we need.
