I never had an issue with the Mako. I just wish I had more things to do planet side aside from ore hunting and the occasional pirate fort or Thresher Maw. What I also would have liked, is more character interaction beyond the elevators, and the Mako would have been a good place for more banter when you're just driving around.

Actually, No. Worst 4-wheel emulation ever. The deliberate craggy / mountainous terrain exacerbated its handling... perhaps intentional, I might add.
Let's examine possible Andromeda terrains and how the view would look like from inside the Mako. Well, I propose it's similar to the ME1 view... which is 3rd person view. Everything will be off-road terrain = rough. That volcanic world certainly will be. I'd like to take the Mako for a spin on an ice world to practice my winter icy-road skills. Now, that, could be fun.
The best game mechanic for the Mako is to avoid generating craggy terrain like in ME1... those steep escarpment like pseudo mountains. But, I won't mind trying out if this new Mako will right itself up, after climbing a 80 degree slope, than falling down.

You didn't feel back pain driving that thing?

At first, but I got the hang of it. So long as you didn't go down hills that were too steep, it controlled okay. Of course there is still room for improvement.
Are you kidding? I love the Mako! It's so ridiculous and fun and bouncy. I like I can fall off a mountain and only damage a wheel. I need this vehicle in real life.

Over 5 playthroughs and I'm still afraid of dying every moment while I'm drivin that.. thing. My "funniest" mako expecience probably was me trying to complete the therum mission while the ground and the lava where both black because of some graphical bug.

No wonder! I remember I headed right to Noveria after leaving the Citadel, which I hadn't even explored properly, during my 1st playthrough. (Man, I suffered.) Noveria was rather... slippery. I was so worried to fall off! So I drove quite carefully, as well. And I didn't immediately know the vehicle could zoom in and fire rockets, so that made the geth give me a little more trouble than necessary. Lol, I remember now that I even had to look up how to exit the vehicle! Good times.

But the challenge in figuring out the best routes for the MAKO was part of the fun. Otherwise BioWare might as well made every off world perfectly flat. There's no fun to be had in simple no challenge point A to B travel.
cjohnone: I'm thinking of buying Pathfinder:wrath of the righteous for 50 dollars in a week. I probably won't even play it once I buy it but I enjoy the character creator.

cjohnone: Had trouble finding a game I liked on Xbox then I tried FAllout New Vegas. Oh my goodness, it warms up to be a great game. I highly recommend it. I did a number of playthroughs. I started out doing melee then started over with guns then melee then guns etc

cjohnone: If DragonAge Dreadwolf is an action game with only two companions that's a deal breaker for me. I might play it later on if it comes on Xbox game pass.

cjohnone: Oh I've been playing Baldur's Gate 3. Creating tons of characters but haven't gotten out of the first act yet. Not sure I'm happy about that. I'm on the easiest setting and it might be too hard for me to finish. It's been really fun though.
