So, I've been lurking on the official BSN forums on and off for a while, (especially during the ME3 ending controversy we all remember). However, I never felt like making an account, instead being an editor on Mass Effect/Dragon Age wikis and such. Now, though, it turns out that it was shut down, and apparently all there is left is this. I do not mean to offend anyone, but I believe it's clear that there's altogether not much activity going on since this forum was founded. I hope no-one will get mad at me for suggesting an alternative I've been using.
It's called Movie Watchers Oasis of Euphoria, and like its name suggests, the prevailing interest is in films. We are in the habit of making separate discussion threads (with polls) for every major or notable upcoming cinema release (right now, it's Rogue One, Don't Breathe, and Morgan), then going into greater discussions on the large Movie Watching (mega)thread. A unique feature of our forum is the exquisitely detailed Movie News Thread, run by one of our most valuable members, John Tyler, with a dedication only he can show.
However, we do have a Video Game section, which sees regular posts, as well as other Bioware fans. There's even a selection of various arcade games in-built into the forum, which is always fun. We also have an active TV Show Watching Thread, as well as separate threads for Game of Thrones and Mr Robot. We also have our own What Are Listening To? thread, and one of the top users is a huge fan of Led Zeppelin, so this should help you fit right in.
And of course, I should also be honest and mention that while it's one of the more active CreateAForum communities, it's still pretty small. If people from here will choose to join us, then you'll have a significant impact on the group dynamic, which we are fine with, as that will lead to a more vibrant community, and it will benefit both of us. I should say that we practice an almost entirely hands-off approach to moderation (there have only been 2 bans issued in the forum's history), so feel free to post what you like. You can easily recreate not only threads, but entire subsections on our forum, should you wish to do so, where you'll have all the admin privileges desired.
So, best of luck, and I hope to see people joining in the near future!
i'd rather not merge the community forum for what it is already. besides, the forum is not mergeable. you are already asking members to join your forum that's blunt. i never touch createaforum site because of its own blatant misue of IP addresses that they use to send spam emails to members.
